Psy'Aviah is the industrial/electrorock/pop/bigbeat crossover project by yves schelpe,
emélie nicolaï and kristof de clerck. inspired by many different kinds of music, they try to create a crossover sound with a hint of darkness protrayed in both sound and lyrics. after a series of perfomances on several festivals and winning studio brussel's demopoll in 2003, the band decided it was time for a change. rethinking the live show and writing a complete set of new songs, which led to the release of a first album "creationism" in 2007. With studio help of Len Lemeire (of Implant and 32Crash fame), 2 tracks of that album were then selected for compilation ("in silence" on fxxk the mainstream released by alfa matrix, and "infected" on 'till dawn do us apart released by dead by dawn).
A lot of positive reviews and reactions led to the decission to start writing new material, of which one track, "mine" will be featured on the endzeit bunkertracks compilation released by alfa matrix.

In a future where the world was rebuilt after a nuclear war, HYNNNER Vs HANT1S3 is a native musical band from Egosfer...
This city, built under a protective dome in order to filter radiations, is the theater of the life of people formatted and controlled by a new predictive religion, Egology.
The prophet Ego-One is the origin of this way of life. Each day, the Sferians follows to the letter a newspaper named EgoVox which is predicting their life minute after minute.
Along the daylight, HYNNNER Vs HANT1S3 is a group of artists tolerated by the government of the megapole but at night, they join the "Grande Cause", last bastion of free men and robots.
Their music is influenced by the various cultures from the alternative pasts: Rock'n'roll, New-Wave, Trip-Hop, Electro, Industrial, World, Big Beat…

it's about electronic music, or synthpop or whatever you call it.
Most of the songs have no meaning in the political sence; some do... Some are about hate ,love and sex ; some against the media-overkill and sell-out of all these emotions that make us a living breathing (human) being...
The name of the band comes from the common fact that symbols have always played a big role in the existence of mankind. From the religious symmetrics to the logo on your favorite sportshoes. They give meaning and identification to those who desperately seek it, need it.
But in a way ,it's just a name and nothing more. Some day our logo may be devoted as well by hurdes of fans; and then - as they say - the circle is complete, the irony has settled and we can all go home ; 'a job well done'...
We compose our music mostly with electronic instruments without a cold technological approach. There always has to be some "dirt in the speakers".
Visuals also play a big role in our stage acts and in any publication of DS; without overshadowing our main asset.

Comme je m'y attendais, certaines de mes craintes étaient fondées...

Les Moins

Le public semblait absent, absolument pas communicatif, nous nous sommes donné à 40%, à peine...Absolument pas envie d'être là ni de parler au public...

Nous avons joué nos morceaux d'une traite, en restant aussi froid que les spectateurs, le temps nous a semblé bien long à NOYYZ et moi-même...C'est, plutôt déçus, que nous avons vite rangé notre matos avant de quitter la scène...sans rappel...
(si ce n'est Request, joué directement à la suite des titres prévus, pour notre unique supporter Francophone : Melakeles), avec un "Thank You" et un "Good Night" de courtoisie...pas envie d'en dire plus...

Les Plus

Un accueil très chaleureux par l'équipe de BEATUI MORTUI et par Lezz (instigatrice de cette date en Flandre), Une bien meilleure ambiance en backstage, un catering luxueux et généreux (même si végétarien). Un son nickel et des lights impeccables.

Et Pourtant ?

Malgré l'ambiance froide que nous avons ressenti, les échos ont été plutôt positifs, ne serait-ce que par les CD's vendus et les personnes nous ayant congratulé après une prestation pourtant moyenne...

En Conclusion

Nous ne regrettons pas d'être venu prêcher la bonne parole Ego-Déviante en terres flamandes.
Nous espérons juste pouvoir jouer devant un public plus chaleureux, afin que nous nous donnions à fond, cette fois...si prochaine fois, il y a...
